Mouth Cancer Action Month
Did you know?

Mouth cancer can affect anybody but many cases of mouth cancer are directly linked with individual's lifestyle choices and certain risk factors increase the chances of developing mouth cancer.

We all know smoking is bad for your health in so many ways but smoking is the leading cause of mouth cancer.

Excessive alcohol is also linked to cases of mouth cancer and should only be consumed responsibly over the legal age (18).

So what can we do?

To keep us healthy we can make good lifestyle choices, eat a well-balanced diet eating plenty of fruit and veg.

We can check our mouth, lips, tongue and throat regularly looking for any red or white patches, ulcers or any unusual lumps or swellings.

We can attend regular check-ups with your dentist.

Palmerstone Dental Practice is renamed Inspire Dental Walthamstow

A change of provider in the summer of 2015 brought on improvements to Palmerstone Dental Practice who has been serving the community for over 30 years and well known in the local area for providing NHS Dentistry to the entire family.

The practice underwent redecoration including its patient waiting area and surgeries making the practice feel fresh and new. The practice was re-named Inspire Dental Walthamstow and branded signage finished off the new look and feel.

Patient information and education leaflets are made available as well as magazines to keep you occupied while you wait.

Our friendly reception team and manager are as always, ready and on hand to help you.

Introducing the NHS Family & Friends Test

Patients are invited to give us their feedback by answering a simple question. Would you recommend us to friends & family?

The response cards can be found in the patient waiting area along with the box to post them in.

We are always looking at ways we can improve our service
